In 1943, Jack Delano (born Jacob Ovcharov in Ukraine, Augdied Puerto Rico, August 12, 1997) was despatched by the Office of War Information to record life at the Chicago & North Western Railroad roundhouse in Clinton, Iowa. The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad in Ricardo, New Mexico by Jack Delano, 1943. In this blog, I'm featuring the Illinois Central Railroad photographs he shot on assignment for the FSA in 1943.
